The Women Welfare Cell of the College has been in operation since 2004. It aims at protecting the dignity and rights of the women students; empowering them to participate equally with men in all the activities of the college.
The Principal appoints a lady faculty member to be in charge of the Women Welfare Cell and some student representatives are also nominated as members.
The students Information Bureau was started in the college campus in the year 1965. The Principal nominates a member of the teaching staff as officer-in-charge of the students information Bureau. The Bureau provides information to the students regarding Financial Aids/Scholarships and facilities available both in technical and general fields of education in India and abroad. The Bureau maintains liaison with the students information and Guidance Bureau of Berhampur University.
The college conducts remedial classes for slow learners. They are given special attention and encouragement for better performance in their respective subjects/courses.
The college has an Employment Information Bureau and Placement Cell with a team of senior faculty members as placement in charge. The District Employment Information Bureau also works for the benefit of the students from this Placement cell.
Many of the students of this college secured placement and employment in several enterprises and organizations like HAL, NALCO, and SEWA Paper Industries etc. Several campus placement interviews have been conducted by reputed organizations/companies in this College. Many students have come out successful in these recruitments and subsequently appointed in WIPRO, VEDANTA ALUMINA, MANGALAM TIMBERS, TCS, INFOSYS, SATYAM, GENPAC etc.
The placement cell provides necessary guidance and information to the students and encourages them for self-employment under different Government Schemes like PMRY etc.
